Kai P. Schoenhals professional career of more than 20 years has been focused on business development, with knowledge in international business management, commercial planning, arbitration, and venture capital. His academic formation focused on law and economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and at Barna Business School, with a senior business management program (PADE). He has been a guest speaker in multiple national and international forums, with special participation in the Board of Directors of APEC University.
For over twelve years he was a director at asset management firm INICIA, becoming part of their executive committee. He was chairman of the Dominican Association of Exporters (ADOEXPO) and of BASC Dominicana (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce). He also participated in the Executive Committee of the Dominican Republic Industries Association (AIRD) as well as of the board of directors of several private sector associations.
In the field of sports, he is part of the board of directors of the Escogido Baseball Club and coordinates the National Team at the Olympic level through the Probeisbol Program.
He is also, and very proud, deputy chief of the Firemen Brigade of the National District and Secretary of its Entrepreneurial Brigade.
